Wow! This has been a really crazy week! I just found out my current gym doesn't have most of the equipment I need so, I transferred over to The Sports Academy. Which, is really nice! I've forgotten how much I love the Sports Academy. You feel like a movie star there, well at least I do. The locker rooms are so posh, everyone says hello to you in the morning, the towels are warm, I love the indoor track what more could you ask for? :)
So after my 4 days of feeling like a million bucks I had a total melt down on Tuesday. Mark left town for business which is no big deal but I had a packed schedule that day. I want to remember this so that when I have my next break down I handle it a little better.
I woke up at 5:20 am to Hayden with an ear infection, Mark took care of him so I could go to the gym, did my cardio came home at 6:20, got the girls off to school and then went to my hair appt at 10:00. After hair went to gym at 2:00 ( ate my lunch while I got my hair done - cold chicken....yumm.....NOT) ran back home picked Hayden up and Kate from school to a dr's appt, then rushed back home to pick up Allie and Caroline for her hair appt. (This is where it gets bad) Dropped Caroline off at her appt while I took the other kids to Wendy's Drive through. Okay, so if you know me well you will know I really don't like Wendy's but I do LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their ketchup!! I only eat the fries so I can enjoy the ketchup! I don't know call me crazy. So, while my children are enjoying thier food (not really - they honestly like Subway better - we just couldn't make it with traffic) Anyway, I'm trying to focus on traffic and my amazing chicken and salad). The ketchup is calling my name.....I look at it, then I stare then I throw it out before I start looking for french fries!
Needless to say, I dropped the girls off at Piano while I listened to Hayden scream for an hour b/c his poor ear infection was driving him nuts and I'm STARVING for my dinner - Oh, did I mention I still need to go to the grocery store and buy more chicken for my dinner and take Caroline to basketball practice and it's 6:30 at night?
That's when I put out an SOS to my trainer. She was AWESOME!! Her email to me put the fire back in me and made me focus. I needed to get through this night and sleep! She said something very important, "That's why they call it a competition" And that's when I realized this is what separates us all on stage in 11 weeks. How much determination and dedication will reflect on each of us when we get on stage.
I can't forget to say thank you to my wonderful mother who encouraged me to hang in their too. Thanks mom! I love you!
