Week 5

Final Week of Puting on the Muscle
YEAH!! The results are in!!! I just finished my final week of muscle training!! It's been such a quick 5 weeks that I can't believe it's time for me to start competition prep!! Wow!! Here are my results in 5 weeks:

Body Fat: I went from 19% to 16%
Weight: 146 to 143

Inches: too many to count :) Truthfully I forgot to take measurements, bad on my part. But I can say that my bra went down 1 cup size....I'm not sure I'm happy about that :) My pant size 29's are to loose on me and I had them taken in. So, I'm happy with that :)

I'm really happy with everything! My new favorite part of my body are my arms. I've always dreamed of having sculpted arms!

New favorite Recipes:

My Favorite Things About Starting This Journey
  1. The support my husband has given me - he has been so great to make sure I get to bed on time, helps me at meal time and watches the kids so that I can workout! He's been a great coach!

  2. My girls feel empowered! - My older girls just started basketball and Kate started gymnastics during my training. It's been a great experience for them and myself. They watch everything I eat and want to make healthy choices as well. I know they are starting to understand how important it is to take care of our bodies. They see Mark and I work as a team. I'm hoping by Mark and my example these healthy lifestyles will stick with them as they get older and avoid any bad body images.

  3. Challenges - I needed a challenge. And this has been the one of my hardest challenges I've ever tried. I know women who do triathalons, marathons and so forth which I think are AMAZING!! I've heard them talk about the challenges they are presented with and have always wanted a challenge myself.

  4. The Way I Feel - I've never felt more fit then I do now. I feel amazing right now! I feel strong, my skin feels amazing, my stomach has never run better then now and the list goes on!

I could go on and on. The bottom line is I'm glad I started this journey!
